SAFe® Transformations
Why ?

There are several reasons why an organization might choose to execute an Agile transformation:

  • Faster delivery of software: Agile methods can help teams to deliver software faster, by breaking down large projects into smaller, more manageable chunks and working in short, incremental cycles.
  • Increased flexibility: Agile methods can help organizations to be more responsive to changing business needs, by allowing them to adapt and make changes to projects more easily.
  • Improved collaboration: Agile methods encourage collaboration and communication among team members, which can lead to better results and higher-quality software.
  • Better alignment with business goals: Agile methods help organizations to align their software development efforts with their overall business goals and objectives.
  • Greater visibility: Agile methods provide a framework for planning, tracking, and delivering software releases, which can help organizations to better understand the status of their software development efforts and identify potential issues early on.
  • Improved customer satisfaction: Agile methods enable organizations to deliver software that meets customers’ needs by involving them in the development process and getting their feedback.
  • Better scalability: Agile methods can help organizations to better manage large-scale software development projects and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Improved employee satisfaction: Agile methods can help employees feel more engaged and motivated by giving them more autonomy, purpose, and a sense of ownership in their work.
  • Overall, Agile transformation can help organizations to be more efficient, effective and competitive by delivering software faster, better aligning with business goals, increasing collaboration, and improving quality and customer satisfaction.

Our approach

The steps for an Agile transformation can vary depending on the specific organization and its needs, but a general process for executing an Agile transformation might include the following steps:

  • Assess the current state: Understand the current processes, workflows, culture, and pain points of the organization. Understand the specific needs of the organization, what is working well, and what areas need improvement.
  • Define the vision: Define the goals and objectives of the Agile transformation, and create a clear vision of what success looks like.
  • Create a plan: Develop a detailed plan for how to implement Agile practices and methodologies, including timelines, resources, and roles and responsibilities.
  • Build a core team: Assemble a core team of key stakeholders and Agile experts to lead the Agile transformation.
  • Develop a governance model: Establish a governance model that supports the Agile transformation and ensures compliance with Agile principles and practices.
  • Train and educate: Provide training and education for all team members on Agile methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • Implement Agile practices: Begin implementing Agile practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and adjust as necessary based on feedback and results.
  • Measure and monitor progress: Establish metrics to measure progress and success of the Agile transformation, and monitor progress regularly.
  • Continuously improve: Continuously review and improve the Agile transformation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continued success.
  • Create a culture of Agile: Create a culture that supports and encourages Agile principles and practices, and make sure that Agile values are embedded in the organization's culture.

It's worth noting that Agile Transformation is a continuous journey and not a one-time project. It requires constant improvement and adaptation to the change and progress.

Our Agile transformation manifesto

Welcome to our Agile Transformation Manifesto. This section outlines our core values and principles that guide our approach to agile transformations. We believe that by embracing these values, organizations can become more adaptive, efficient, and innovative.

These values are not only important for the success of an Agile Transformation, but they also act as a guide for the team and the organization to achieve their goals and objectives in a more efficient and effective way. Together, we can create a culture of continuous improvement and foster a more agile way of working.

  • We value individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
  • We value working software over comprehensive documentation.
  • We value customer collaboration over contract negotiation.
  • We value responding to change over following a plan.
  • We value delivering value to the customer over maximizing resource utilization.
  • We value fostering a culture of continuous improvement over maintaining the status quo.
  • We value empowering teams to make decisions over centralizing decision-making.
  • We value creating a transparent and inspectable process over hiding problems.
  • We value fostering a culture of experimentation and learning over adhering to a rigid plan.
  • We value building a sustainable pace of work over pushing for short-term gains.
